Agatos, through its subsidiary Agatos Energia, has signed a letter of intent with Flymove Holding Limited, a company incorporated under English law coordinated by Equiventia Capital Partners. The letter of intent provides an evaluation and a structure of technical, commercial and industrial collaboration aimed at a development of an integrated and sustainable electric mobility platform, “Smart Mobility Platform” (SMP).

The platform is a base for the new “Point of Energy” (POE) station network, where the batteries are exchanged (battery swaps) in only 2 minutes on the vehicles using this technology. If the assessment phase confirms the technical feasibility of the project and Flymove confirms that it has obtained the necessary funding, the parties intend to sign a binding contract for the construction of these stations. Agatos Energia would design and supply a system that generates and stores renewable energy, producing energy also “on-site” fueling the recharge of the batteries used in the new POE stations.

The agreement will allow Flymove to re-launch the brand Bertone in the automotive world. Thanks to the SMP platform adapted for the “Dianchè-Bertone” cars, Flymove intends to guarantee an almost complete coverage of the Italian and, subsequently, European motorway network.
