Flymove launches the first ‘Wellness Urban Mobility’ platform for cities.

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, 2020 has been a very difficult year for everyone, especially for the industry that has suffered enormous damage that will take a long time to remedy. In particular, the automotive and mobility sectors have practically stopped. But perhaps one of the very few positive aspects of this terrible situation was that of seeing a growing awareness in public opinion that it is increasingly necessary to preserve the environment in which we live and that we cannot leave an increasingly polluted and damaged planet to future generations. thanks to irresponsible industrial and social policies. During the pandemic, seeing dolphins going up the Thames, admiring the clear water in the canals of Venice or feeling the pure air of blue skies over our lockdown cities, made everyone think. One of the most sensitive issues today is certainly how to improve environmental sustainability and the quality of life in our cities. It is undeniable that the levels of particulate and fine dust pollution deriving from the combustion of both the heating systems of homes, industries and partly also from gasoline and diesel thermal mobility, have reached unacceptable levels.

With regard to sustainable mobility, Flymove’s operating sector, many operators around the world have been active for some time by presenting products, technologies and visions that involve the use of electric-powered vehicles and the creation of charging networks. The technological effort, especially as regards the generation and use of renewable energy and the development of new batteries that have high capacity, rapid recharging and that use as little as possible materials such as lithium and cobalt, is undoubtedly remarkable. But the perplexing fact is that looking at the entire panorama of the technological offer, there is no single and integrated “platform” that offers city administrators a solution that is easy to implement, which limits the installation invasiveness to the maximum, at a cost that is clear and gradual, and that above all offers efficient services to citizens while also guaranteeing economic sustainability for all the components involved.

After a few years of work in the field and after having managed to acquire a particular sensitivity regarding the bureaucratic and institutional problems that a city must face and solve to take the path of sustainable integrated mobility, Flymove announces that it has conceived, developed and perfected probably as the first ever in this sector, the innovative integrated and sustainable mobility platform for the cities of the future, called “Wellness Urban Mobility”. The platform, adaptable to any city need and conformation, both for large modern cities and for medium-small historic cities, allows for the gradual implementation of various levels of green mobility, limiting the needs and the infrastructural and aesthetic invasiveness to the maximum.

The battery swap technology adopted by Flymove allows you to automatically replace a discharged battery with a charged one in less than a minute, on any predisposed vehicle. This technology makes the classic charger obsolete, even of the fast type, which among other things involves a significant infrastructural and aesthetic impact and an higher consumption of energy. Instead, thanks to the development of POE Point of Energy stations, easily configurable in size and capacity, which do not require civil works, connected to the energy network that only and exclusively supplies energy from certified renewable sources, it is possible to create a modular network capable, with very few stations, to cover any city need. The public and private vehicles that Flymove has conceived and designed all use the same battery swap technology and all use the same POE stations. Flymove has already designed self-driving cars, buses, microbuses, pods ideal for any application and use, such as taxis, shuttles, vehicles for craftsmen and local markets, surveillance and police, waste collection, maintenance, emergency. All vehicles are homologated for road use and no special road adaptation works are required to use them. They are all already prepared for autonomous driving as soon as it is possible to use it.

The entire city platform, called “MOB3” and interconnected also with the “EVE” Dianchè car platform, is managed and controlled by a single operations center, which receives information from individual moving vehicles and is able to process valuable data such as traffic incidence and percentage of road-by-road pollution, optimization of vehicle flows and operating times according to the influx of passengers and users, optimization of energy consumption, management of parking lots and common city services. The platform also provides services to users through an application that can be downloaded on a smartphone, to which all users have free access. It is therefore possible to calculate your city trips using only public transport, book specific vehicles, access events and city facilities of interest, book hotels and restaurants, visit the city with virtual guides, receive information of public utility in real time.

Flymove’s “Wellness Urban Mobility” platform is a complete system, a supply chain that starts from energy management up to the final provision of services to users who use the integrated mobility services of the city.
